Umu is the 9th character in Series 1, and 66th in Superstar. He is known as Tamzu in the Urban Toys version of the set. His evolution is Tai-Umu.
Appearance[]
Umu has a very bored, deadpan, and sad expression on his face, along with a pair of pointed ears. He also has a green swimming ensemble complete with a white swimming cap.
Personality[]
Mega Metropolis[]
In the first few comics, he is shown to have a chilled personality. Later on in the series however, he has a "crybaby" like attitude with a fear of ghosts. Jelly (a bully/friend to him) is very rude to him, and he makes fun of his swimming cap (which was a running gag throughout the series).
Description[]

- Superstar: Since becoming a SUPERSTAR, Umu comes out of the pool dry. Wow!

Trivia[]
- In the Mega Metropolis magazines, there is a running gag when Jelly would mistake Umu's swimming cap as a nappy (diaper) which Umu would get mad about.
- His Urban Toys name "Tamzu" is almost identical to Ufus' Urban Toys name "Yamzu", being one letter off.
